AB Cotspin Charts Bold Growth Path with 1,500 Crore Expansion Drive across India

Integrated textile enterprise AB Cotspin India has announced an ambitious investment plan worth up to 1,500 crore aimed at massively expanding its manufacturing capabilities. The company will finance this major growth initiative through a balanced mix of bank loans, internal funds, and government-backed incentives.
The expansion will see the addition of nearly 2,00,000 spindles to its current count of 50,832, effectively scaling up operations across major textile hubs including Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. This phase-wise development is expected to be completed within the next three years.
AB Cotspin’s strategy goes beyond just increasing output. It includes setting up advanced units for spinning, ginning, yarn production, and textile processing. The project also integrates warehousing, logistics, and sustainability-focused by-product utilisation. A strong emphasis is being placed on adopting renewable energy, supported by the firm’s existing solar infrastructure and focused efforts in resource optimisation.
According to Managing Director Deepak Garg, the expansion is designed to deepen the company’s sustainable and integrated production model, boosting its competitive edge in both domestic and global markets. The new investment aligns with rising demand for premium cotton yarn and eco-conscious textile solutions.
Headquartered in Bathinda, AB Cotspin has over 25 years of industry expertise and has steadily grown since its listing on NSE Emerge. Recently completing three years on the exchange, the company now qualifies for migration to the main board. In FY25, it reported a 17% growth in revenue, reaching 300.91 crore, while net profit rose by over 52%, touching 10.21 crore.
This expansion is expected to not only enhance the firm’s capacity but also reinforce its position as a forward-looking textile leader committed to innovation and sustainability.
